Toronto – A new video footage purportedly showing the executions of a young man has shaken Ethiopians to the core.
A young man who appears to be in his twenties is seen with his hands tied behind back, dragged and made to sit in front of his family members. A moment later the young man is shot point blank.
The location, date and time of the incident is undisclosed.
Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) claims that the incident was carried out in the Oromia region of Ethiopia.
In a message it shared on X along with the video, which is too graphic to share, OLA said, “This how Abiy Ahmed`s Interahamwe soldiers conduct “law and order operations” across Oromia: by executing civilians point-blank, every day.”
The group itself has been linked to thousands of horrifying executions – particularly targeting ethnic Amharas in the Oromia region of Ethiopia.
Other than the OLA, the video and photo of the latest execution has been trending among Ethiopians on social media but no confirmation as to where and when the execution took place.
The identities of those seen in the video footage and described as “family members” is unverified at this point. There has been a similar incident a few months ago in Fitche whereby the execution of a young man was recorded. Later the claim emerged that the gunman was “fano member.” To date, the incident has never been verified independently.
The Ethiopian government has not remarked about the latest incident of execution which OLA claimed that it was in the Oromia region of Ethiopia.
Meanwhile , a credible local Ethiopian news outlet on Thursday reported that two brothers who were travelling between Dega Damot and Bahir Dar, in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, were taken out of a vehicle in Adet town and executed. The Ethiopian government did not deny it or remark about it.
Human Rights Organizations in Ethiopia and abroad did report several times about extrajudicial executions targeting civilians in the Amhara region of Ethiopia since the government started what it called “law enforcement operation” in the region in August 2023.

The owners of this website know very well that this video was smuggled out of their country of Eritrea. It is a daily occurrence there. These guys are typical cadres of Isaias government disguising themselves as Ethiopians. They have to prove it to us that they are not Eritreans. But they will not do that because they can’t prove they are not Eritreans. Fraudsters!
ABIY`s soliders crime is endless . For sure Abiy is waiting for the time that he will be drag out from his hiding rat hole like sadam and Gadafi. I wonder why the international community is silent about him. Of course self interest is becoming the primary obejective than principle, moral values, humanity and democracy .

I have seen some twits as well, I am done, most Ethiopians are very easy to trick because most of them don’t have an ability to confirm or reconfirm something. we are too fast to judge or act with all the ignorance we are carrying…
