Toronto – It is clear now that confrontation between the two rival TPLF factions is manifesting itself within the army in the region as well.
While about 20 military leaders supported the interim administration, more than 170 military leaders have demonstrated support to the Debretsion Faction.
There are also reports that the military generals that are supporting the Debretsion group are also in touch with the Eritrean government, and even received a site in Senafe where it can train its forces. However, this can not be verified from other sources. However, Eritrea’s involvement within the TPLF controversy is becoming more apparent.
