Toronto – This week, Abiy Ahmed’s government declared yet another “final” massive military operation in the Amhara region deploying more than 40,000 forces.
The Fano forces have announced their own versions of mobilization in response to the latest government military move. As part of it, closure of roads is imposed for all vehicles as of October 3 which is implemented in most parts of the region. With that, reports of fresh fighting has been reported in many parts of the region.
South Gondar is one of the areas where an intense fighting after the government’s latest “final’ military campaign is declared. Fano forces in the area report a significant military gain over government forces. Take a listen to Anchor Media report.
