Toronto – There was a grenade attack in Bahir Dar on Thursday, according to Anchor Media report.
However, there is no reported casualty. The city has been under renewed curfew for several weeks now.
There is restriction on tuk tuk (bajaj) and vehicles in the evening and early in the morning.
The city is said to be under siege by Fano forces from all directions but the regional administration did not remark about it. The curfew is confirmed and the regional administrations says it is for security reasons.
There has been a report recently that Fano forces abducted a number of government authorities and intelligence officers from the city. Fano has also reportedly taken responsibility for the grenade attack.
