Community Discussion about Race and Identity in America at Busboys and Poets
Washington, DC 2/11/2018 – The editor of Ghion Journal, Teodrose Fikre, will feature his first book “Serendipity’s Trace” and discuss the journey that led to it’s inception. Part of the event will entail a community discussion about Race and Identity in America and the ways we can overcome injustice and the divisive nature of politics and society. The event will be on Sunday, February 11th at 6:00 PM at Busboys and Poets in Washington DC. This is a family and kid friendly event where a much-needed conversation will be had along with the showing of a video that takes a radically different view of the very notion of race and identity and challenges people to look beyond color and understand our common humanity.
