Last month, TPLF leader, Debretsion Gebremichael wrote an open letter to the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres complaining about the ineffectiveness of the peaceful option to resolve the conflict with the Federal government of Ethiopia.
He attempted to leave the next step for TPLF murky when he said that it is considering “other options.” For those familiar with Ethiopian politics and the TPLF, it was clear that TPLF meant war when it said “other options.”
The Ethiopian government disclosed, just last week, that the TPLF has been engaged in mass mobilisation in the Tigray region of Ethiopia to launch another military campaign. It was understandable that it would be in the Afar and Amhara regions of Ethiopia as they are the only areas through which the TPLF could find access to the outside world.
As it turns out, the TPLF had plans to test the water with Eritrea too. There were reported fights this week and that TPLF lost a few battles. TPLF spokesman, Getachew Reda, framed the development differently. In a Twitter message, he wrote on Thursday, he said that Eritrea has been shelling civilian areas in Tigray. Eritrea, as always, did not respond to TPLF allegations.
Inevitability of the war is now official. TPLF leaders, including Debretsion Gebremichaeal, were engaging residents this week in different parts of the Tigray region to be on standby as the “peaceful option did not work.”
The Ethiopian government has not yet remarked on the latest TPLF leader’s order to the people of Tigray. However, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed was telling the army to be ready when he was visiting three military bases in the past two weeks.
The international community did not remark on TPLF’s new confirmation that it is about to start the war again.

Why should they? Let us be honest. If BLACK AFRICANS liquidate each other, do you really believe the colonial powers of yesteryears that we know — with their obvious intention) — would loose a wink of their nights sleep to save Black Africans ?!?!?!
Please be REAL as the saying goes. After all, from the past history, we can deduce that we Black Africans are our own enemies. It is now a joke to blame the colonial powers. We honest Africans are now doing their job for them!!!!
Dear AFRICAN READERS: PLEASE BE HONEST TO YOURSELVES. HISTORY WILL REMEMBER US FOR WHAT WE BECAME, NOT FOR WHAT WE WERE INHERENTLY DESCENT RACE. WHAT A TRAGEDY!!! THE END
Now this is going to be called ‘war of independence’ by the BBC, AP, AFP, Reuters, Amnesty International and every bigot here among us scavenging at college campuses and missionary canteens. This mobilization indicates that Debre and his group are about to declare ‘independence’ in accordance with the current constitution.
I am sensing another around of bloodshed mission instigation by the.notorious TPLF bandits The big questions is now why the poor Tigaru people have to bear and suffer gain another devastating war where they would loose more in terms of lives politico and military strategy.? Do they reaky believe in its bravado of non-existent invincibility or they remain captive its long standing abuses over their lives and afraid to confront? What TPLF and its core supporters couldn’t achieve in the last 50 they wouldn’t achieve in the next 100 years. So those who aren’t eager these recurring suicidal missions better weigh in on their options and interest in life

I seriously doubt this would result anything meaningful and not because they wouldn’t try to go this path or they weren’t thinking about it some time to achieve of the so-called an independent Tigrai banana republic, but because of their original pet project or plan fell apart when Walkeit and Raya strategic lands were lost. The rest is just the usual bravado and political posturind and propaganda material to remain in.they eyes of confused and beleaguered Tigray masses and to some self intrest foreign actors. There is no way they can get away and snatch back these non-tigrain lands and build semi viable Tigray country and sovereign territory

Tplf is suicidal
Abiy Ahmed is not a leader of Ethiopia but a destroyer and a traitor. When TPLF declarers war on Ethiopia, Amhara and Afar instead of going to Tigray to fight as any real leader of a country would have done, encouraging, supporting, preparing and arming Amhara and Afar people his concern is doing the exact opposite. Disarming, creating problems, coming up with divisive agenda to divide one Amhara from another, harassing with Marshall laws and threats are all what he is doing!! That defines his evil intention that proved what has been going on against Amharas everywhere.
What a shame that warrants his immediate removal from power!!!
He was not elected to leave criminals untouched and not stepping a foot where terrorists hide while letting innocent people for slaughter and loot.
Free General Tefera Mamo!!!!
Stop Abducting and murdering Amharas in Amhara Zone by Federal Army!
Federal Army leave from Amhara Zone, Amharas did not ask for your help!
Respect Amhara Zone rights!
PM Abiy Ahmed Go to Tigray and Wollega where violence is out of control!!
It is true PM Abiy Ahmed has never ruled Tigray. How can he be the PM when he is not fulfilling his duty as a leader of a country. He shows his muscle and feels comfortable when he is around well mannered and self-governing people like in the Amhara Zone. He mistakes self-governing Amharas for suckers that will take his “bs” every time . Violence is despised by Amharas but patience and anxiety has gone over the limit. Now they must start defending themselves and their leaders from the violent government OPP itself.
Amharas must not respect a leader (PM Abiy) who is not loyal, truthful, democratic and is not respected nor allowed to set one foot in Tigray.. The PM is afraid setting his foot in Tigray and Wollega where violence is the way of life.
Mass and economical protest against the violent, PM Abiy and PP government must start everywhere until PM Abiy stops his violence and starts to listen and respect People’s choice and demands!!!
