In the beginning, darkness reigned
Fear emerged, a presence unexplained
Then came light, radiating from the dark
But fear persisted, a constant spark
When did fear take hold, in light or dark?
Was it born of imagination or harsh reality’s mark?
The unknown or uncertainty, which one fueled its might?
Fearing the fear, a vicious cycle takes flight
Shattering hope, disturbing peace on earth
A heavenly realm, now tainted by human birth
To be or not to be, to love or be loved
Uncertainty reigns, as fear rises above
Can the future become the past, reversing time’s flow?
To decipher life’s mystery, and break the silence code
Ashamed of cruelty, men killing men, fighting everywhere
War in the north, east, south, and west, without a care
Children cry, mothers shed tears, deep sorrow all around
Living in fear, uncertain of tomorrow’s fate, dust rises, civilization drowned
