Those who were unable to pay the money were detained for four days and were latter released
According to the source, they were detained at the police station for about four days. They were only released when the police authorities realized that Prosecutors were visiting the police station.

I have been intently watching the recent daily salvo of earthquakes that have shaking the Awash area and it seems to be taking a recess during the last two days. A few days ago, the tremor even traveled all the way to the town of Ciro(Asbe) more than 120 km from Awash with a 4.5. Let’s hope and pray that the goon will go back to take a long break so the displaced people will feel safe again. It is reported close 100,000 people have been displaced from their homes. We should do our part to help them with the last penny we have. Let’s go!!!
I guess I started celebrating too fast thinking the earthquake in the Awash area was coming to an end. Right after I posted my previous comment, there were two tremors in the same area at 4.8 and 4.6 each. Our people are not alone in this disaster. Their familiar people in Greece and Italy have been on the receiving end on daily basis for more than a week. But those two countries are always prepared and well stocked to deal with natural disasters. Our people are not. We should extend our helping hands to those who have been left homeless in both Afar and Oromia regions. Let’s go!!!
Nonsense! What earthquake report are you commenting on? Are you in dream-walking?
